Rafael Leão Stops Using Dedicated Agent as Tottenham Pursues Milan Exit

Portuguese forward Rafael Leão, who has been with AC Milan since 2019, announced he will no longer work with a single dedicated agent, opting instead to coordinate with multiple representatives to facilitate a possible summer transfer. Tottenham Hotspur have been identified as a leading suitor, with manager Roberto De Zerbi viewing Leão as a potential addition to the rebuilding squad in north London. Saudi interest in the player has also been reported, while Barcelona have been ruled out of the race.

Transfer broker Fabrizio Romano later clarified that, despite media speculation, there are currently no negotiations between Tottenham and Leão’s representatives or between Tottenham and AC Milan. Milan’s hierarchy have asked agent Jorge Mendes to explore options for the 27‑year‑old, whose contract situation remains uncertain after he publicly expressed a desire to leave the club following the 2025‑26 season.
