Galatasaray signs Rafael Leao from AC Milan for 38 million euros
Galatasaray has officially completed the high-profile transfer of Portuguese winger Rafael Leao from AC Milan. The deal involves a fixed transfer fee of 38 million euros, with Milan retaining 20 percent of the profit from any future sale. Leao has signed a four-year contract starting from the 2026-2027 season, with a guaranteed annual net salary of 10 million euros.
In addition to the Leao signing, Galatasaray is finalizing several other moves. The club has reached an agreement to sign Deniz Gül from FC Porto for a reported 10 million euros plus bonuses. The club is also in advanced negotiations for defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu from RB Leipzig and is monitoring Yusuf Akçiçek.
Meanwhile, AC Milan is managing several departures. Youssouf Fofana is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on a loan deal with a 12 million euro buy option. The club is also seeing the end of Leao's seven-year tenure in Italy, where he won the Serie A title and the Super Cup.
