Rafael Marín Urges Unity and Citizen Participation to Bolster Mexico's Sovereignty in Kantunilkín

Rafael Marín, founder of Morena in Quintana Roo, chaired an informational assembly in Kantunilkín, Quintana Roo, attended by local ejidatarios, taxicab drivers and community leaders. He called for strengthening national sovereignty through unity, citizen participation, honest dialogue and collective organization, stressing the need to protect Mexico’s institutions, resources and the right to decide its own destiny.

Marín invoked Benito Juárez’s famous phrase about respect for the rights of others, and highlighted the role of ejidal organizations and municipal officials—including Isidro Chuc Simá, Laura Chan Canul and Carlos Betancourt Bass—in fostering community development and safeguarding the nation’s future.
