Rafael Monti joins Sociedad Deportiva Aucas

Sociedad Deportiva Aucas has officially signed Argentine striker Rafael Monti to strengthen its attack for the final stretch of the season. The 26-year-old forward returns to Ecuadorian football following a recent stint with Remo in Brazil.

Monti previously established himself in Ecuador playing for Vinotinto (formerly Cuniburo), where he scored 12 goals in Serie B and played a key role in the club's promotion to Serie A. Standing at 1.82 meters, the Buenos Aires-born striker brings professional experience from clubs such as Acassuso in Argentina and various stints in Spain.

Aucas manager Norberto Araujo aims to utilize Monti's goal-scoring ability to bolster the team's position in the LigaPro standings during the decisive phase of the tournament.
