Rafael Portillo sues Juan Osorio over 10 million peso investment

Entrepreneur Rafael Portillo has initiated legal action against producer Juan Osorio, alleging fraud and failure to return a 10 million peso investment related to the theatrical production ‘Aventurera’.

Portillo claims he provided 50% of the capital for the project, noting that Osorio requested a portion of the funds in cash and U.S. dollars. Following the production's run, Portillo reported discovering losses exceeding 4 million pesos and stated that Osorio refused to provide detailed financial transparency regarding the management of the money.

The dispute has escalated into both civil and criminal proceedings, with legal actions reportedly being pursued in both Mexico and the United States. Portillo's legal team claims to possess over 150 audio recordings and financial documentation to support the allegations. Portillo also reported receiving threats after initiating the legal process.
