Rafaela authorities investigate hidden camera found in workplace restroom

Authorities in Rafaela, Argentina, are investigating a local business owner after an employee discovered she was being filmed without consent in the staff restroom. The incident occurred at a gastronomic establishment located near Avenida Santa Fe and Italia.

The victim realized what was happening after accidentally seeing a photograph of herself in a restroom on her employer's mobile phone. Following the discovery, police conducted an inspection of the premises and located a black device hidden inside a lamp holder within the employees' bathroom.

Prosecutor Brenda Baños has taken charge of the case, involving specialized personnel in gender, sexual, and family violence. Investigators have seized the hidden device, the employer's cellphone, a computer, and a memory card for forensic analysis to determine the extent of the unauthorized recordings.
