Raffaele Ambrosca under investigation for alleged pressure on cooperative

An investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere has raised allegations of political pressure involving the administration of Mayor Raffaele Ambrosca regarding the management of Fondo Acquaro.

Investigators are examining whether there was an attempt to influence both personnel hiring and the assignment of security services for the cooperative ‘Luigi Del Prete’. The cooperative was granted a six-year contract to manage the confiscated asset, which is intended to serve as a community housing facility for people with disabilities and a multifunctional social center.

The prosecution's inquiry focuses on potential extortion and the undue conditioning of the management of public assets. The investigation suggests that the administration may have sought to control the autonomy of the cooperative regarding its staff and service providers. All suspects are presumed innocent until a final conviction.
