Raffi Boghosian Elected President of Golden Globe Foundation

Armenian producer, journalist and television host Raffi Boghosian has been elected President of the Golden Globe Foundation’s Board of Directors. He announced on social media, “I’m honored to share that I have been elected President of the Golden Globe Foundation,” adding that he is grateful for the trust placed in him and looks forward to supporting the foundation’s mission.

Boghosian, who joined the board in August 2025, succeeds Adam Tanswell and will serve a three‑year term alongside board members such as French‑Tunisian reporter Ramzy Malouki and entertainment attorney Bianca Goodloe. The foundation, created in 2023 after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association dissolved, continues the HFPA’s philanthropic work, having granted more than $55 million over three decades to film schools, restoration projects and journalist support programs. Its 2025‑26 grants program allocated $3 million to 86 organizations.

The Golden Globe awards are now run by Dick Clark Productions, part of the Penske Media Eldridge joint venture. Boghosian, born in Iraq to an Armenian family and raised in Syria and Jordan before moving to Los Angeles, also heads the Middle‑East‑focused production company Boghos Entertainment and serves as Hollywood correspondent for Dubai‑based El‑Arabiya.
