Ragheb Al-Ali performs in Morocco and Egypt as part of summer festivals
Lebanese singer Ragheb Al‑Ali will hold two high‑profile concerts in North Africa this summer. On 29 July he is scheduled to appear in the coastal town of M’diq, Morocco, as part of the “Beach Festival” organized for the country’s King’s Day celebrations. The event follows his successful set at the Timitar Festival in Agadir earlier this year.
The same day Al‑Ali arrived in Cairo, Egypt, where he is preparing for a private show at Porto Marina on the Egyptian North Coast, slated for the following Friday. The Egyptian concert will feature many of his classic hits and is intended for invited guests rather than the general public. In both countries Al‑Ali is also promoting work on a new album that will include songs in Lebanese, Egyptian and Gulf dialects.
