Raglan prepares for Arts Weekend and community film screenings

The Raglan Arts Weekend (RAW) is approaching, featuring over 70 artists from Whaingaroa. This year's event includes ten new studios and the Hatch incubator program, which helps emerging talents transition into the main event.

Featured artists include Reformation Studios, which utilizes 3D printing technology with recycled plastic, and Chris Hoult, who combines fishing photography with Japanese printing techniques. Other participants include Jo Gallagher, Stuart Bridson, and various new painters.

Additionally, the Raglan Arts Centre at The Old School is hosting a series of movie screenings in mid-August 2026. The lineup includes films such as Primavera, Tuner, and Kiri & Lou Go Raaa!, with various ticket options available for adults and children.
