Ragnhild Aarekol wins rollerski mass-start world title in Madona
At the rollerski world championships in Madona, Latvia, Norwegian athlete Ragnhild Aarekol secured the women’s mass-start skating title. This victory marks her third world title of the week, following gold medals in the individual classic and the team sprint.
In the junior men’s 200m skate sprint qualification, Frenchman Lévi Maury took first place with a time of 21.70 seconds. His brother, Eliott Maury, also qualified for the final phases. In the senior men’s qualification, Italian Emanuele Becchis led the field, while France’s Simon Clavel and Enzo Hudry also advanced to the finals.
In the women’s qualifications, Emilie Ruud Lia won the junior category for Norway, and Alba Mortagna took the senior junior title for Italy.
