Ragusa hosts 29th edition of classic car Autogiro rally

The 29th edition of the Autogiro della provincia di Ragusa is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2026. Organized by the Veteran Car Club Ibleo, this classic regularity rally celebrates vintage automotive history while promoting the territory of southeastern Sicily.

The event features a variety of historic vehicles, including an Amilcar Cgss (1927), a Plymouth Chrysler 4C (1928), a Fiat 521 (1930), Lancia Augusta models from 1935 and 1936, and the Cisitalia 202 Gran Sport Cabrio (1948).

The itinerary includes technical inspections in Ragusa Mare, regularity trials, and skill tests. Participants will traverse scenic routes through the Iblei hills, visiting locations such as Comiso and the Donnafugata castle. The event is supported by the Municipality of Ragusa and the Sicilian Regional Tourism Department.
