Ragusa: Man returns lost wallet containing 2,900 euros to authorities

A 52-year-old man of Moroccan origin, residing in the Ragusa province, has been praised for his honesty after finding a lost wallet at a service station in Contrada Majorana. The wallet contained approximately 2,900 euros in cash, various payment cards, and personal identification documents.

Despite being on his way to work in Comiso, the man chose to turn back and deliver the items to the Carabinieri. Using the documents found inside, authorities were able to quickly identify the owner, a 41-year-old nurse living in Ragusa and working in Catania. The owner has since recovered all his belongings, confirming that no money or documents were missing.
