Rahu‑Ketu planetary trap breaks on July 18 2026, freeing five planets

On 18 July 2026 the Moon will move from Leo into Virgo, ending the long‑standing Rahu‑Ketu “trap” that has kept five major planets in a restrictive semicircle. The planets – Sun, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn – are expected to emerge from the negative configuration and begin delivering auspicious effects.

Astrologers note that the release will particularly benefit the Gemini, Cancer and Pisces signs. Gemini natives may see stalled career projects resume and financial opportunities open as Mercury turns direct on 24 July. Cancer signs could experience relief from health and family tensions with the Sun already in Cancer, while Pisces may find mental confusion eases despite Saturn’s retrograde motion beginning 27 July.

Additional July 2026 planetary movements include Jupiter already in combustion, the Sun’s transit through Cancer, and Saturn’s upcoming retrograde, all of which are said to influence national politics, business conditions, weather patterns and social activities according to the forecasts.
