Rahul Gandhi accuses Delhi Police of harassing female protesters

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has leveled serious allegations against the Delhi Police regarding the treatment of female protesters and students. Following meetings with victims, Gandhi claimed on social media that police personnel engaged in sexual harassment, including pulling clothes and touching private parts during recent demonstrations.

Gandhi characterized these actions as a deliberate conspiracy to intimidate and humiliate those speaking up for democracy, aiming to prevent future dissent. He further asserted that the fear of losing power by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is being transmitted to the police, resulting in violence against women and youth. He concluded by stating that the government cannot suppress the public's voice through police repression.
