Rahul Gandhi initiates 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' to tackle exam paper leaks

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced a new signature campaign called “Chhatron Ki Goonj” (Students’ Outcry) to highlight flaws in India’s education system, focusing on frequent exam paper leaks, high fees and unemployment. He posted the initiative on X, urging students to share ideas and sign the petition, saying, “If you’ve suffered because of paper leaks, exam issues, or high fees… then ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ is your voice,” and added, “More the signatures, louder the goonj!”

The launch followed a rally in Kota, Rajasthan, where Gandhi addressed thousands of students, describing the current system as an “extortion machine” that imposes heavy financial burdens on families and creates stressful, unfair examinations. He called for a welfare‑oriented state that supports education, career guidance and dignified employment, and appealed for collective effort to ensure no student endures such hardships again.
