Rahul Gandhi slams Bihar government over alleged police brutality

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has criticized the Bihar government following reports of police brutality against students. The protests were initiated by youth demanding transparency and fair opportunities in response to alleged rigging within the examination system.

Gandhi met with students who reported being injured by police batons and gunfire, including the use of an AK-47 in Siwan. He argued that the government cannot avoid accountability by blaming minor officials, suggesting the violence was either ordered by higher authorities or represents a significant failure of leadership.
