Rahul Gandhi to hold student dialogue event in Indore
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to participate in the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ program in Indore on September 19. The event, held at the ‘Bharat Jodo Maidan’ in front of Regional Park, aims to facilitate direct dialogue with students regarding issues such as the education system, paper leaks, expensive education, recruitment irregularities, and unemployment.
The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has granted permission for the event on a 12,000 square meter field, subject to five conditions. Organizers are responsible for all security arrangements and logistics. To accommodate a large crowd, a high-tech waterproof dome covering approximately 5 acres is being constructed, with a claimed seating capacity of up to 100,000 people.
Preparations are underway to level the muddy ground with soil and gravel. While Congress claims approximately 150,000 registrations have been completed, local reports from Jabalpur indicate around 5,000 students have registered so far, with an expected 10,000 attendees traveling from that region to participate.
