Rahul Gandhi to host ‘Chhatra Goonj’ program amid political debate

Congress leader Vijay Vadettywar has announced that Rahul Gandhi will host the ‘Chhatra Goonj’ program in Nagpur, though a specific date has yet to be finalized. Vadettywar expressed the party's support for students and youth protesting against issues in the education system and corruption, stating that the Congress party will stand with those fighting for their rights.

Vaddettywar also noted that Rahul Gandhi has written to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the difficulties faced by tribal students. He criticized current government policies that he claims negatively impact these students.

In contrast, BJP national media co-in-charge Pradeep Bhandari has characterized the ‘Chhatra Goonj’ initiative as a ‘PR stunt’. Bhandari claimed that many senior Congress leaders have failed to promote the event on social media, citing statistics that suggest a lack of engagement from prominent party members such as Manish Tewari and Chintan Singh Channi.
