Rai 1 airs new cultural travel programs 'Passaggio a Nord Ovest' and 'A Sua Immagine' on Aug 1

On Saturday, 1 August, Rai 1 will broadcast two new cultural travel programmes. At 15:00 the channel airs "Passaggio a Nord Ovest", hosted by historian Alberto Angela. The show links the Odyssey to sites in Greece, Catalonia’s human towers, the ancient manuscript in Manchester and South Africa’s “Cradle of Humanity”.

At 16:00 the channel follows with "A Sua Immagine", presented by journalist Lorena Bianchetti. The episode journeys from Italy’s Lake Orta through the Sacro Monte of Orta, a Franciscan convent, and the Madonna della Bocciola sanctuary, highlighting faith, nature and a community energy project, before meeting paralympic champion Riccardo Bagaini.
