Rai 1 program Azzurro Storie di Mare to feature Abruzzo coast

The television program ‘Azzurro – Storie di Mare’ will air a new episode on Rai 1 on Saturday, August 29, at 11:25 AM. Hosted by Beppe Convertini, the episode will focus on the Abruzzo coastline, exploring themes of the sea, environment, fishing, local villages, traditions, and gastronomy.

Key locations featured in the Abruzzo segment include Pescara, the Costa dei Trabocchi, Ortona, Pineto, Sant’Omero, and Tortoreto. The broadcast will cover topics such as water quality controls for the Blue Flag 2026, local fishing testimonies, and regional culinary traditions. Additionally, the program will include segments on Arborea in Sardinia and bread production in Altamura.

Actor and presenter Mirko Mascioli will also participate in the episode. Having previously appeared as a correspondent for the program in 2024, Mascioli returns to the project in a different capacity, marking a continued professional collaboration with host Beppe Convertini.
