Sanremo hosts ‘La Notte dei Fiori’ musical tribute on Rai 1

Rai 1 will broadcast ‘La Notte dei Fiori’ on Saturday, August 29, a special event celebrating the musical heritage of Liguria and the famous Genoese singer-songwriter school. Hosted by Nicola Savino and Elenoire Casalegno, the show will take place on the Pian di Nave seafront in Sanremo, using the sea as a natural backdrop.

The program pays tribute to legendary artists including Fabrizio De André, Gino Paoli, Luigi Tenco, Umberto Bindi, Bruno Lauzi, and Ivano Fossati through archival footage and new musical interpretations. A diverse cast of performers, including Fabrizio Moro, Marco Masini, Tosca, and Anna Tatangelo, will reinterpret classic songs to bridge different musical generations.

In addition to honoring the Genoese school, the event will also celebrate the history of the Sanremo Music Festival, creating a connection between the city's cultural identity and its most famous musical institution.
