The 2024 romantic comedy film ‘Upgraded’ (titled ‘Amore, arte e bugie’ in Italian) is scheduled to broadcast on Rai 1 on the evening of August 11, 2026. Directed by Carlson Young, the film features music by Mika.

The story follows Ana Santos, an ambitious intern at a prestigious New York auction house. After receiving an unexpected first-class flight upgrade, she meets a wealthy Englishman named William. To impress him, Ana misrepresents her professional status, leading to a series of complications as she travels to London for a business trip with her demanding boss, Claire Dupree.

The cast includes Camila Mendes as Ana Santos, Archie Renaux as William, Marisa Tomei as Claire Dupree, and Lena Olin as Catherine Laroche. The film will also be available for streaming via Rai Play.
