Rai announces new seasons for Porta a Porta and Cinque Minuti

Rai is launching new seasons for its prominent political and news programs. Bruno Vespa returns to host ‘Porta a Porta’, which begins its 32nd edition on September 8, airing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on Rai 1. The program ‘Cinque Minuti’ is scheduled to resume on September 21, following the Tg1 news broadcast.

Vespa noted that the upcoming season is expected to be politically active, covering topics such as the election results in Saxony, Germany, the performance of the Meloni government, and the ‘campo largo’ political landscape. He emphasized the program's commitment to pluralism, citing previous season data where Fratelli d'Italia and the Partito Democratico had equal representation.

Additionally, the Rai3 program ‘Il Cavallo e la torre’, hosted by Marco Damilano, returns on September 7. The show will continue to explore the intersection of history, politics, and social issues through reports and studio debates.
