Tale e Quale Show wins Wednesday night ratings battle

The fifth episode of the talent show ‘Tale e Quale Show 2026’, hosted by Carlo Conti on Rai 1, secured a victory in the Wednesday evening television ratings. The program drew 2,511,000 viewers, representing an 18.4% share, successfully outperforming Canale 5’s musical special ‘Il Volo – Uno per tutti’, which attracted 1,857,000 viewers (15.6% share).

In the latest episode, comedian Max Paiella took first place for the night with his performance as Charles Aznavour. Selma Ezzine maintains her position at the top of the overall seasonal leaderboard, followed by Roberta Morise and Andrea Perroni. The episode was also noted for tensions among the judges, specifically between Elettra Lamborghini and Cristiano Malgioglio.

Despite the show’s recent move from a Friday to a Wednesday time slot, its audience share remains stable, averaging 19.6% over the first five episodes. While absolute viewership numbers are slightly lower than the previous season's Friday broadcasts, the program continues to be a dominant force in prime-time entertainment.
