Rai and Mediaset announce new television programming schedules

Italian television networks Rai and Mediaset have announced their upcoming programming schedules for the new season starting in September.

Rai 1 will feature several returning daytime programs, including 'Affari Tuoi' hosted by Stefano De Martino on September 6, and 'Mattina News' starting September 7. Other scheduled shows include 'Storie Italiane', 'E’ sempre mezzogiorno' with Antonella Clerici, and 'La Volta Buona' with Caterina Balivo. 'Ballando con le Stelle' is set to return on October 3, 2026.

On Mediaset, the program 'Forum' on Canale 5 is returning with a notable technological addition. Host Barbara Palombelli introduced Jeeves, a humanoid robot developed by young Italian engineers. Integrated with artificial intelligence, Jeeves is intended to serve as an assistant within the studio, a move that has already sparked discussion on social media regarding the role of AI in television.
