Rai announces new television series ‘Una piccola formalità’ and ‘Cagnàz’

Rai is preparing to launch two new television series on its flagship channel, Rai Uno.

One upcoming production, ‘Una piccola formalità’, was presented at the Rome Film Festival. Based on the novel by Alessia Gazzola and directed by Davide Marengo, the six-episode series follows a journalist in Milan who investigates the mysterious identity of an unexpected heir.

Additionally, the crime series ‘Cagnàz’ is set to premiere. Directed by Alessandro Roia and based on an idea by Carlo Lucarelli and Giampiero Rigosi, the eight-episode drama is set in Rimini. It follows an unconventional inspector, played by Guido Caprino, as he navigates local investigations involving organized crime. The production received support from the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
