Rai Radio1 resumes ‘Igorà’ program focused on AI and social media

The radio program ‘Igorà – La piazza social di Radio1’, created and hosted by journalist Igor Righetti, is returning for its fourth season on Rai Radio1 and RaiPlay Sound. The show broadcasts live Monday through Friday at 15:00.

The new season focuses on the impact of social media and artificial intelligence on society. The premiere episode features director Pupi Avati, film producer Massimiliano Caroletti, and actresses Eva Henger and Nadia Rinaldi, discussing the theme: ‘Cinema in the era of artificial intelligence, art or algorithm?’

Designed as a cross-media format, the program aims to bridge generations by exploring how technology, culture, politics, and social trends intersect. Under the direction of Nicola Rao, the station continues to target younger audiences through contemporary digital-focused content.
