Rai unveils new travel documentary series exploring Italy and the world
The second edition of "Kilimangiaro Estate" aired on Rai 3 on 30 July, hosted by Camila Raznovich. The programme featured marine biologist Roberto Danovaro discussing deep‑sea ecosystems, astrophysicist Luca Perri comparing oceanic and space exploration, writer Gianluca Gotto presenting his new novel, urbanist Elena Granata and actress Arianna Porcelli Safonov debating overtourism in European art cities, and chemist Giorgio Volpi showcasing the hidden artistry of nature.
Meanwhile, the travel series "Vista Mare" returned on Rai 1 on 25 July, presented by Federico Quaranta and Diletta Acanfora. The show began with a feature on Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei, then continued to the coasts of Molise, Sardinia and Naples, highlighting local traditions, landscapes and crafts. Produced by the Zeus Group, the programme aims to celebrate Italy’s coastal heritage and its living communities.
