Raiders' Cody White and BYU's Legend Glasker earn recognition

In professional football, Las Vegas Raiders practice squad elevation Cody White has made a strong case for a permanent spot on the 53-man roster. Following a Week 1 performance on special teams that saved seven points, White recorded two touchdowns on two receptions for 24 yards during the Raiders' 26-14 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2.

In collegiate athletics, BYU wide receiver Legend Glasker has been named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week for the second time in three games. The true freshman recorded 131 receiving yards on five catches and added a rushing touchdown during BYU's 41-23 win against Colorado State. Glasker currently leads BYU receivers with 270 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season.
