Raiffeisen Bank launches 15‑20% rebate loans for residential energy‑efficiency upgrades in Bosnia

Raiffeisen Bank, in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has introduced a financing scheme for homeowners in Bosnia and Herzegovina to improve the energy efficiency of their properties. Eligible projects receive a refund of 15 % to 20 % of the invested amount, making upgrades more affordable.

The loan programme covers a broad range of measures, including replacement of windows and doors, insulation improvements, modernisation of heating and cooling systems, installation of solar panels, and other renovations that reduce energy consumption. According to Armin Suljić, Director of Retail Products at Raiffeisen Bank, energy‑efficient buildings also tend to have higher market value and are more attractive for sale or rent.

Clients receive comprehensive support throughout the process, from advice on qualifying investments and project preparation to verification of completed works and assistance in securing the rebate. The initiative aims to lower energy costs for households, contribute to environmental protection, and promote higher‑quality residential housing.
