Raiffeisenbank Auerbach-Freihung launches crypto trading service

Raiffeisenbank Auerbach-Freihung has launched ‘myKrypto’, a new feature allowing customers to trade digital currencies directly through its VR-Banking app. This initiative makes the cooperative bank the first in the Oberpfalz region to offer such services, the second in Bavaria, and the fourth in Germany.

CEO Frank-E. Kirchhof described the launch as entering a ‘new world,’ noting that the bank aims to keep pace with the evolving digital landscape following a successful testing phase. The technical implementation was supported by partnerships with DZ Bank and the Stuttgart Stock Exchange.
