Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala announces 734 apprentice vacancies

The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala has released a recruitment notification for 734 Act Apprentice positions for the 2026-27 period under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The vacancies span nine technical trades, including Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Painter, Carpenter, Electrician, AC & Refrigeration Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), and Electronic Mechanic.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed the 10th class examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by the NCVT. Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of September 5, 2026, though age relaxations are available for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

The online application process is currently open and will remain so until September 5, 2026, at 24:00 hours. Selection will be conducted based on a merit list calculated from the average of marks obtained in the 10th class and ITI examinations.
