Railing collapse at Minnesota Vikings facility injures students

A railing collapse at TCO Stadium, the Minnesota Vikings’ training facility, injured several students during a high school football game on Thursday, September 3. The incident occurred following a rivalry matchup between Cretin-Derham Hall and St. Thomas Academy, which Cretin-Derham Hall won 15-7.

As students and players gathered to celebrate the victory, the railing gave way, sending spectators falling from the stands onto the field. Witnesses estimated that approximately 30 people ended up on the ground.

The Minnesota Vikings confirmed that several individuals were treated on-site for minor injuries and released by emergency medical services. One student was transported to a local hospital for evaluation but has since been released, according to school and team officials.
