Railway constables prevent passenger falls from moving trains
Constables at different railway stations in India have successfully prevented passenger fatalities during attempts to board moving trains.
At Anantapur Railway Station, a traffic constable intervened when a resident, Ravi Kumar, lost his balance while attempting to board a moving train. CCTV footage captured the constable grabbing the man by his collar and pulling him away from the train to prevent a fall.
In a separate incident at Nagpur station, RPF Constable Rakesh Pal prevented a passenger from falling into the gap between a moving Howrah AC Duronto Express and the platform. The passenger had slipped while running alongside the departing train. Following the intervention, the train manager briefly stopped the train to allow the passenger to board safely.
