Railway heritage exhibits featured at Japanese museums

Visitors to the Amagasaki City History Museum in Japan have highlighted new railway-related acquisitions. Notable exhibits include destination boards and tickets from the Hanshin Kokudo Line, as well as a passenger door from a Hanshin Electric Railway Type 881 car, which was previously transferred to the Kotoden railway in Kagawa Prefecture.

The museum, housed in a former girls' high school building, also features permanent exhibits on the industrial history of Amagasaki, including displays on wartime air raids and local pollution litigation.

In a separate visit to the Railway Museum, visitors noted the facility's amenities and its connection to the Saitama New Urban Transit New Shuttle line, which operates via rubber tires between Omiya and Uchijuku.
