Railway line 22 traffic resumes in Sokolniki Suche

PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe has resumed train traffic on railway line no. 22 in Sokolniki Suche following a Wednesday accident involving a train and a truck. The resumption occurred shortly after 11:25 PM on the night of September 11-12, after the last derailed wagon was repositioned and essential technical works were completed.

While the route between Wolanów and Przysucha is passable again, service has not returned to normal. Trains are currently operating on a single track (track no. 1) with a speed limit of 60 km/h, and a 20 km/h limit at the level crossing.

Repair work on the second track is ongoing. Railway workers are scheduled to continue repairs on track no. 2 throughout Saturday, meaning traffic will continue to operate in a shuttle mode on a single track until the infrastructure is fully restored.
