Rain or Shine's Adrian Nocum leads team to third straight win and earns Gilas Pilipinas long‑list spot

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters extended their winning streak in the PBA Governors’ Cup with a 98‑97 victory over the Magnolia Hotshots. Adrian Nocum delivered a career‑high 31 points and hit the decisive layup with 5.6 seconds remaining, securing the team's third consecutive win. Aaron Fuller also contributed, posting 14 points and 12 rebounds in a prior 98‑97 win against Magnolia.

Following the triumph, Rain or Shine assistant coach Caloy Garcia announced that Nocum has been placed on the Gilas Pilipinas long‑list for the 20th Asian Games in September. Nocum expressed excitement, saying it was “a great feeling” and thanked the national team staff for the opportunity. The Elasto Painters look to continue their run with a fourth straight game against the Meralco Bolts at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
