Rain Tree releases new fantasy-themed music video

The Japanese girl group Rain Tree, produced by Yasushi Akimoto, has released the music video for their fifth digital single, ‘Suki nante Uso ni Kimatteru’.

Directed by YODEN, the video utilizes a fantasy theme where the seven members portray princesses from various fairy tales. The narrative explores the emotions of young love through motifs such as Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White. Specific scenes include Kotori Ayase portraying Cinderella with a glass slipper, Mio Suzuno and others appearing in an Alice-inspired tea party setting, and Maki Hashimoto appearing in a Snow White-themed sequence involving a red apple.

The members highlighted the production's high-quality sets and CG, noting that the video offers a different atmosphere compared to their previous works. The video concludes with a choreographed dance performance in fairy-like costumes.
