Rainer Vogel celebrates 10 years as First City Councilor in Nidderau

Rainer Vogel of the BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN party celebrated his 10-year anniversary as the First City Councilor in Nidderau on September 1.

The local Green Party branch honored Vogel for his long-term commitment to the city, specifically citing his work in integrating social issues, economic interests, and climate protection. Key achievements highlighted include securing subsidies for flood protection, heavy rain analysis, and the renaturation of the Nidder river to increase safety against extreme weather.

Additionally, his contributions to social services—including childcare, youth, family, and senior support—and the development of public transportation were noted. Local officials praised his ability to provide expert advice to the municipal council and his productive cooperation with mayors Gerhard Schultheiß and Andreas Bär.
