Raipe TV to premiere Coral, a vertical microdrama featuring AI

Raipe TV will premiere its first vertical microdrama, Coral, on September 29. The production consists of 50 episodes, each approximately two minutes long, specifically designed for mobile viewing in a vertical format.

The plot is a psychological suspense drama centered on artificial intelligence. The story follows Serena, a programmer who develops VOIA, an AI capable of recreating voices and simulating conversations based on a person's memories. The narrative explores the fallout of Serena's decision to end her marriage to Úrsula, a tragedy that uncovers long-held secrets and leads Úrsula to see professional potential in the technology.

Written by Gabi DiMello, who co-directs with Natalie Smith, the series features a cast including Natalie Smith, Jéssica Córes, Sofia Starling, Amanda Simão, and Priscila Buiar, with a special appearance by Marcelo Serrado. The production, handled by Zolly Conteúdo, features a crew that is approximately 90% female, with women holding all sector leadership positions.
