Raipur man kills wife and two children before attempting suicide

A man allegedly murdered his wife and two minor children with a knife in the Dumartarai area of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The incident occurred in a rented house within the jurisdiction of the Mana Police Station.

Preliminary investigations suggest the suspect, identified as Bhuneshwar Sahu, acted out of suspicion regarding his wife's character. After killing his family members, Sahu inflicted multiple self-inflicted wounds in an apparent suicide attempt.

Local authorities and forensic teams secured the crime scene to collect evidence. The suspect was transported to Mekahara Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Police officials stated they are awaiting his recovery to record a formal statement and proceed with the investigation.
