Raipur student assaulted at Swami Atmanand School

A video depicting the brutal assault of a student at Swami Atmanand School in Bhathagaon, Raipur, has gone viral on social media. The footage allegedly shows a group of youths surrounding a student and striking him repeatedly, with claims that he was hit more than 46 times in approximately 40 seconds. The video also reportedly shows one assailant kicking the student in the face.

The incident is said to have occurred within the Purani Basti police station area following a dispute between students. It is alleged that one student summoned several youths from outside the school to attack the victim. During the assault, one of the attackers reportedly threatened the victim, claiming to have connections to lawyers and judges.

The victim's family has expressed concerns regarding school safety, alleging that the school administration failed to take effective action after the incident was reported. Due to the perceived lack of security and the psychological impact of the event, the student has reportedly taken a transfer certificate to leave the school.
