Raising Cane’s expands California footprint with new locations

Raising Cane’s is expanding its presence in California with two new developments. In San Francisco, the chicken finger chain will open its first location at Fisherman’s Wharf on September 21, 2026. Located at 211 Jefferson Street, the restaurant features decor inspired by local landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The opening is intended to support the revitalization of the Fisherman’s Wharf district.

In Valencia, Raising Cane’s has filed permits to construct a new drive-thru restaurant at the site of a former Red Lobster. The Red Lobster location on The Old Road is scheduled to cease operations on September 20, 2026. Following the demolition of the existing structure, the new Raising Cane’s, which will include an outdoor patio, is slated to open in Fall 2027.
