Raja De King distributes 10 iPhone 17s via live lucky draw

Amritsar-based businessman Rakesh Trehan, known as ‘Raja De King’, conducted a live lucky draw on September 22 to distribute 10 iPhone 17 handsets. The event, described as an ‘iPhone Langar’, was held from his residence in Chandigarh after local authorities did not grant permission for a public gathering.

The giveaway was specifically targeted toward women who participated in a dedicated WhatsApp group. To qualify for the draw, participants were required to post ‘Jai Mata Di’ daily within the group. During the live selection process, several male names appeared on the screen but were rejected to adhere to the specific criteria.

Trehan stated that the winners will have the phones delivered directly to their homes to avoid crowds and long queues. He expressed intentions to expand this campaign to 10 other major cities in Punjab, noting a long-term goal of distributing 2,000 iPhones. He also clarified that rising market prices for handsets would not affect the initiative, as all devices are being purchased at current rates.
