RAJA halts water supply in Constanța area for pipeline repairs

RAJA SA announced two scheduled water supply interruptions in Constanța County. On 7 July 2026, tap water will be shut off from 08:00 to 22:00 in the towns of Biruința and Topraisar while new pipelines are connected to the Biruința water source under the POIM infrastructure program. Residents were asked to store a minimum water reserve and were warned that water may appear turbid or discoloured when service resumes, and should be used only for domestic purposes until it clears.

A separate outage was scheduled for 1 July 2026 from 13:30 to 17:00 on I.L. Caragiale Street in the city of Constanța. The shut‑off affects customers within the block bounded by Bd. I.C. Brătianu, Oborului, I.L. Caragiale and Dezrobirii. In the nearby Coiciu district water pressure will be reduced, and upper‑floor apartments may lose water entirely. RAJA apologized for the inconvenience and advised consumers to limit water use to household tasks until normal quality is restored.
