Raja Jackson released from jail after felony battery sentence
Raja Jackson, son of MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has been released from jail after serving a 90-day sentence. The sentence followed a plea agreement in which Jackson pleaded no contest to felony battery with serious bodily injury.
The charges stemmed from an August 2025 incident at a KNOKX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles. During the event, Jackson entered the ring and attacked independent wrestler Stewart “Syko Stu” Smith, repeatedly punching him while he was unconscious. The attack resulted in Smith suffering serious head injuries, leading to his retirement from professional wrestling.
In addition to his jail time, Jackson was ordered to pay over $81,000 in restitution to Smith and serve two years of formal probation. Following the incident, the streaming platform Kick banned Jackson, and WWE removed KNOKX Pro from its WWE ID developmental program.
