Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma visits Delhi ahead of monsoon assembly session
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma travelled to New Delhi in early August as preparations began for Rajasthan's monsoon legislative session slated to start on 20 August. In Delhi he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, discussing the upcoming session and the state government's development agenda. Sharma also held talks with Union Labour, Employment, Youth, Sports and Skill Development Minister Dr Manasukh Mandaviya, focusing on expanding skill‑training, employment, sports infrastructure and youth participation under the "MY Bharat" initiative. The CM highlighted the impact of recent free‑trade agreements on Rajasthan’s artisans, agriculture and MSMEs, and reiterated the state’s commitment to welfare schemes such as the "Rising Rajasthan" program. These meetings are intended to secure central support for the state’s policy priorities ahead of the assembly session.
