Rajasthan CM emphasizes women's empowerment and MSME growth

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has emphasized the critical role of women and small-scale industries in the state's economic development and nation-building efforts.

At a Nari Shakti Sammelan, Sharma highlighted various government initiatives aimed at women's empowerment, including increased assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and the distribution of bicycles and scooters to support education. He noted that significant financial support has been provided to self-help groups, including Rs 93 crore in loans and Rs 25 crore in livelihood promotion assistance.

Addressing an entrepreneurs’ conference in Pali, the Chief Minister also underscored the importance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for job creation. He pledged state support through improved infrastructure, including access to land, water, and electricity. Sharma highlighted major water projects, such as the Ramjal Setu Link and Yamuna Water agreements, as key to supporting industrial growth and local resource processing.
