Rajasthan Minister Kirodi Lal Meena vows to protect reservation policies

Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena has declared his firm opposition to any attempts to abolish reservation policies. Speaking during World Tribal Day celebrations at the Panch Athai complex in Dausa, Meena stated, “As long as there is life in Kirodi’s body, no one can even touch reservation.”

During the event, which saw participation from thousands of people, Meena reflected on his political history, noting his involvement in approximately 600 movements and his 17 previous incarcerations. He also called for social unity, urging the Meena and Gurjar farming communities to maintain brotherhood and avoid disputes.

In addition to discussing reservation, the minister addressed local issues including the struggle for water from the Panchna Dam and ongoing efforts to bring water from the Chambal River to the Dausa region. The festival also included the launch of a book documenting Meena's political life and various cultural performances by local students.
